How to use the Army Commander Tycoon calculator
- Choose your task. Time to target estimates when your balance reaches a goal. Upgrade payback estimates how long extra income takes to recover an upgrade's cost.
- Read the numbers in your game. Enter full amounts, such as 25,000 rather than 25K. Keep Cash separate from Gold and Robux.
- Check the time unit. A rate per minute is not the same number as a rate per second. Changing the selector converts your rate without changing its meaning.
- Calculate and review the assumptions. If your income or spending changes, update the relevant inputs. An estimate does not guarantee that a separate unlock requirement is met.
A worked target example
Suppose you have 25,000 Cash, want a balance of 1,000,000 and measure 5,000 Cash per minute. Your shortfall is 975,000. Dividing by 5,000 gives 195 minutes, or 3 hours 15 minutes. These are hypothetical values chosen to explain the arithmetic.
Changing 5,000 per minute to per second displays 83.33, while the calculation preserves the original 83.333… per second. Editing that displayed rate makes your new entry the rate used for future calculations.
When is an income upgrade paid back?
An upgrade costing 20,000 Cash that adds 2,000 Cash per minute has a simple payback of 10 minutes. Enter the extra income only. Using your entire new income instead of the increase would make the payback look artificially short.
Payback is one comparison, not a complete strategy. An upgrade may also unlock something useful, have another requirement, or change a later purchase. Read the beginner guide for a practical way to choose your next goal.
What zero values mean
- If your current balance meets or exceeds your target, the cash wait is zero.
- If you still need Cash and your income is zero, the target cannot be reached at that rate.
- If extra income is zero or negative, there is no positive payback rate.
- A zero-cost upgrade with a positive income increase has zero payback time.
Where the numbers come from
The calculator uses numbers you enter, not a live game database. It does not assume promotion thresholds, pass multipliers, offline income or specific building prices. Enter a total that already includes your active bonuses; the tool will not multiply them again.
If no reliable rate is shown, measure the difference between two balances over a known interval without spending or collecting one-off rewards. A changing rate produces a changing estimate.
Your inputs stay in your browser
Calculations happen on this page. We do not save the values to a server, include them in analytics, or ask for a Roblox login. Copying a result is optional. See our privacy policy for the details of optional analytics and browser storage.
